3. Eligibility
Chato is for users aged 18 and older. If you are under 18, you cannot use this app. This age restriction is based on regional guidelines in the market where you downloaded the app.
4. User Responsibilities
Users of Chato must:
- Follow all rules and laws while using the app.
- Avoid sharing offensive, abusive, or illegal content.
- Respect other user's privacy.
- Avoid impersonating others or misrepresenting their identity.
5. Prohibited Activities
To maintain a safe and respectful environment, the following activities are strictly prohibited on Chato:
No Pornography
- Sharing explicit content, including photos or videos of genital organs, sexual acts, or any sexually explicit material, is strictly prohibited.
No Underage Content
- Users under 18 are prohibited from using Chato.
- Sharing any explicit content involving individuals under the age of 18 is strictly forbidden.
No Violence or Harm
- Promoting or sharing violent, abusive, or harmful content.
- Depictions of harm to individuals, animals, or groups are not allowed.
No Bullying or Harassment
- Engaging in behavior intended to offend, harass, or bully other users.
No Spam
- Advertising apps, services, events, or affiliate programs.
- Sending unsolicited links, offers, or promotions.
No Personal Data Requests
- Soliciting or sharing personal information, such as social media accounts, phone numbers, or emails.
No Hate Speech or Discrimination
- Content targeting individuals or groups based on religion, race, gender, sexual orientation, or other characteristics is strictly forbidden.
6. Moderation and Violations
- Chato uses automatic filters to block inappropriate content.
- A team of moderators reviews reported messages to enforce community rules.
- Users engaging in prohibited activities may face suspension or bans.
7. Account Suspension
Chato reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Suspensions may be temporary or permanent, depending on the severity of the violation.
8. Virtual Coins and Purchases
- Virtual coins can be used to unlock features, such as gender filters.
- Purchases are non-refundable unless required by applicable law.
- Chato reserves the right to adjust the availability and pricing of virtual coins.
9. Subscriptions
If you purchase a subscription to Chato, the following terms apply:
- Payment will be charged to your account at confirmation of purchase.
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
- You can manage your subscription and turn off auto-renewal in your AppStore or PlayStore account settings.
10. Limitation of Liability
- Chato is provided "as is." We make no guarantees about the reliability or availability of the app.
- Chato is not liable for damages resulting from your use of the app.
11. Social Responsibility
We encourage users to report violations. If a violation is reported and found valid, the offending user may be penalized. Failure to report serious violations may be considered a breach of community responsibility.
12. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app or email. Continued use of Chato implies acceptance of the updated terms.
